Stop Memorizing Isolated Words: Learn Vocabulary in Context

Combine collocations, personal examples, and spaced review so new words become language you can actually use.

A word plus a translation is easy to forget and difficult to use.

For every new word, record three things: one common collocation, one personal example, and one question you can answer with the word.

For achieve, use achieve a goal; write I want to achieve a higher speaking score; and ask What do you want to achieve this year?

Review on day one, day three, and day seven. Cover the answer, say it first, and then check. In your next lesson, ask your tutor to choose three words for a spontaneous conversation. A word is truly learned when you can use it without a prompt.
